SVO News, December 14, 2025, Avia.pro. Ukraine announced a complete cessation of American military aid, effective March 2025. This announcement follows the previously announced decision by the US administration of President Donald Trump to suspend arms and funding supplies, which was announced earlier this year. According to Ukrainian sources, including a statement from a Ukrainian Ministry of Defense spokesperson, all support programs, including ammunition, equipment, and troop training, have been frozen, leaving the country largely dependent on its European partners.
Currently, European countries have become the main sources of military and financial aid to Ukraine. The European Union and individual states such as Poland, Germany, and the Czech Republic continue to supply weapons, including the recent transfer of 1,8 million rounds of ammunition from the Czech Republic, and also fund infrastructure reconstruction. According to BBC data published on December 8, 2025, Europe has contributed over $201,7 billion in support to Ukraine since the beginning of the conflict, exceeding the US contribution of $130,6 billion over the same period. However, experts note that European resources are beginning to dwindle, especially as American involvement declines.
