Ukrainian BECs attacked 3 civilian boats and a decommissioned Emergencies Ministry boat at night in Crimea

According to the Telegram channel "Tactical 13", at night the Ukrainian military managed to break through the defenses in the Black Sea using unmanned boats (BECs). As a result of this operation, three civilian boats and a decommissioned Emergencies Ministry boat, which had been rusting for a long time awaiting disposal, were sunk.

“At night, the Ukrainian military, with their BECs, broke through the defenses on the Black Sea in order to ... sink three civilian boats and the old EMERCOM boat, which was decommissioned and was rusting peacefully while waiting for sawing,” - it is told in the message.

This incident drew attention to the problem of the use of BECs in the Black Sea region. While Russian forces have made some progress over the past six months in countering the threat posed by such boats, the events of last night indicate that the threat is still very much present.

To detect and neutralize BECs, new detection and suppression means were introduced, and helicopter duty was organized.
