Ukrainian drones struck Tver and Yaroslavl.

Emergency News, December 12, 2025, Avia.pro. On the night of December 12, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched drone strikes against several Russian regions, including the Tver and Yaroslavl regions. In Tver, one of the drones crashed into a residential building, causing a fire and injuries.

Local residents of Tver heard a series of explosions around 3:00 a.m.—five to six booms echoed across the neighborhood. One drone crashed into the lower floors of a high-rise building in the Michurinsky residential complex, causing a fire and filling the entryway with acrid smoke. According to eyewitnesses, residents pulled their neighbors out of the building themselves and attempted to extinguish the fire before firefighters arrived. The impact damaged apartments on the first through fourth floors, shattering windows and collapsing partitions. Video of the incident shows a drone piercing the facade, with black smoke immediately billowing from the windows.

Seven people, including a child, were injured. All suffered lacerations from shattered glass, bruises, and injuries from the blast. Rescuers contained the fire by morning but are continuing to check the floors for debris. Temporarily evacuated residents were placed in a nearby school, where 22 people, including five children, took refuge. Residents reported in online chats that they felt a strong vibration before the explosion.

In Yaroslavl, the attacks began after 4:00 a.m.—residents counted approximately seven explosions. Smoke rose over one neighborhood, and the distinctive hum of a drone's engine was heard in the sky. There is no official confirmation of damage yet.
