On the night of October 3, the city of Borisoglebsk in the Voronezh region was attacked by enemy drones. According to the region's governor, Alexander Gusev, on his Telegram channel, in just one night, air defense forces and electronic warfare systems successfully suppressed and eliminated about thirty Ukrainian drones in four municipal districts of the Voronezh region.
Gusev emphasized that, according to preliminary data, there were no casualties as a result of the incident. However, as a result of the explosions, damage to the glass and fences in four households was found. Residents of Borisoglebsk reported in city public groups that they heard numerous explosions in different areas of the city, starting from 1 a.m. and until half past three in the morning. The sounds of the explosions were accompanied by the work of air defense, the detonation of downed drones and electronic warfare activity. Nevertheless, satellites recorded probable fires in the area of the airfield.
Local media confirm that explosions during the night attacks were clearly audible throughout Borisoglebsk. However, official information about the damage caused to the city has not yet been received. The authorities continue to assess the consequences of the attack.
