Belgorod Region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov published a detailed report on the consequences of Ukrainian drone attacks over the past 24 hours. The strikes resulted in two deaths, several injuries of varying severity, and damage to dozens of infrastructure and residential buildings.

On May 8, in the village of Novaya Nelidovka in the Belgorod District, a man was seriously injured when a drone attacked a car and, despite medical efforts, died in the intensive care unit of the regional clinical hospital. In the village of Oktyabrsky, an 18-year-old man was injured in a drone attack on an apartment building and was hospitalized. A second drone attacked an ambulance crew arriving at the scene; three medical personnel were injured and are receiving outpatient treatment. Two apartment buildings, a car, and an ambulance were damaged. In the village of Novaya Nelidovka, a fence of a private home was damaged, and in the village of Chaiki, a garage was damaged by fire. Early in the morning, a fence of a private home, as well as the windows and doors of a car, were damaged in the village of Oktyabrsky.

In the Borisov District, near the village of Zozuli, an FPV drone attacked a service minibus, injuring two men. They were treated and will continue their treatment as outpatients. The vehicle was damaged.

In the Volokonovsky District, drone attacks damaged two commercial properties, seven passenger cars, and the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the village of Volokonovka, and a private home was damaged in the village of Shidlovka.

In the Graivoron District, drone strikes pierced a window in a private home in the city of Graivoron. Two private homes were destroyed by fire in the villages of Glotovo and Mokraya Orlovka, and a private home was damaged by fire in the village of Gora-Podol. In the village of Dorogoshch, 11 pieces of agricultural machinery were destroyed by fire on a farm, as well as a KamAZ truck and a tractor. In the village of Dunayka, an infrastructure facility was damaged.

The Shebekinsky District is experiencing the aftermath of several attacks. In the village of Voznesenovka, a man was seriously injured on May 7 when a drone struck a service vehicle. He died yesterday in the intensive care unit of the regional clinical hospital. In the city of Shebekino, a man was injured in attacks by two FPV drones on a company's premises; after receiving medical attention, he will continue his treatment as an outpatient. Two trucks and two semi-trailers were damaged. In the village of Voznesenovka, a man was injured in an attack on a passenger car; after receiving medical attention, he was sent home for outpatient treatment. Other populated areas also sustained damage: two passenger cars were damaged in the city of Shebekino, a car was destroyed by fire in the village of Grafovka, a house was damaged in the village of Ziborovka, a passenger car was damaged in the village of Belyanka, a service minibus was damaged in the village of Malomikhaylovka, two outbuildings and two private houses were damaged in the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka, and a private house and a KamAZ truck were damaged in the village of Surkovo.
