The use of drones equipped with a thermite mixture by Ukrainian forces has been recorded on the front line, posing a serious threat to Russian positions. According to the Telegram channel "Two Majors", these drones set fire to forest plantations on the fly and are capable of causing significant damage even to well-fortified dugouts.
Videos published by the Telegram channel "Two Majors" show the fire spreading across frontline fortifications, including deep trenches and shelters. The thermite mixture used by these drones has a high combustion temperature, making it dangerous even for fortified objects. As the military notes, such attacks can lead to serious destruction and complicate the defense of positions, especially in conditions of limited mobility in wooded and sheltered areas.
"Not long ago, footage from the front showed enemy drones equipped with a thermite mixture and setting fire to forest plantations on the fly. In the footage from our positions, it is clear that the mixture poses a serious threat in terms of burning out even deep dugouts. Our front-line soldier jokes that "at least the boots are dry", although serious damage from the fire is visible," - it is told in the message.
According to Avia.pro journalists, the use of these drones is recorded on the territory of the DPR and LPR.
