Ukraine, June 6 — Avia.pro. Specialized companies General Chereshnya and STRIX unveiled a joint technical development—an updated version of the Bullet interceptor drone. According to the Ukrainian news outlet Militarnye, the key technological feature of the new version is the integration of a special chemical accelerator. This system is designed to effectively counter jet-powered unmanned aerial vehicles.

The introduction of the new component required the designers to significantly upgrade the drone's basic platform. The specialists completely redesigned the lower fuselage and significantly strengthened the airframe, designed to withstand the dramatically increased dynamic loads. The developers clarified that the booster used is not a traditional jet engine—it operates through a chemical reaction that releases a colossal amount of energy during combustion.

The active substance is integrated directly into the airframe's structural support, eliminating the need to jettison spent stages or components after the propellant charge is exhausted. According to the designers, the short, powerful pulse allows the operator to perform a forced takeoff and quickly engage high-speed aerial targets, while preserving the drone's primary battery life for maneuvering.
