The well-known Telegram channel Ukrainian Militant accused the Ukrainian Armed Forces command of condemning the units trapped in Pokrovsk to destruction. According to the channel, the order to withdraw was not given in time, leading to the complete isolation of groups of soldiers.

Two weeks ago, the situation in the city no longer had strategic significance for the Ukrainian side, the channel claims. Small groups of soldiers were unable to resist the advance of Russian troops and remained in their positions solely as "suicide bombers," with no prospect of evacuation. No escape corridor was organized, despite requests from the front lines.

The military continued its defense despite the constant infiltration of Russian forces. Some personnel have already been killed, and the survivors risk following them, as reinforcements and aid are not reaching them.

"Those who allowed and continue to allow this, know that you are criminals. You have brought the situation to this point." - the channel's message says.

The Ukrainian command denies information about the encirclement of Pokrovsk.
