Ukrainian resources distributed a frame from an FPV drone, taken a second before yesterday’s attack on the car of Russian war correspondent Evgeniy Poddubny. This incident occurred while the journalist was traveling in the combat zone in the Kursk region - according to the source, on the outskirts of Sudzha.

Evgeny Poddubny, known for his reporting from the front line, was attacked by a drone, which caused a storm of emotions in the Russian media space.

After the attack, Poddubny was seriously injured and was urgently taken to the Kursk Regional Hospital. According to doctors, his condition remains serious but stable. Official representatives of VGTRK, where the journalist works, confirmed the attack and reported that Poddubny was receiving all the necessary medical care.

The incident caused a stir both in Russia and abroad. Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Defense Committee Dmitry Sablin expressed support for Poddubny, noting his courage and professionalism. “Zhenya is alive and may God grant him a long life, in spite of his enemies,” Sablin wrote in his Telegram channel.
