The Ukrainian military hit Rovenki with the latest long-range GMLRS-ER missiles

The American M142 Himars struck with long-range GMLRS-ER missiles.

In addition to the M30A1, M30A2, M30A1 and M30A2 ammunition, the United States also handed over to the Ukrainian military the latest GMLRS-ER long-range ammunition with a range of up to 150 kilometers. This is evidenced by today's strike on the village of Rovenki from a distance of more than 110 kilometers.

According to official data, the blow to the settlement of Rovenki was inflicted by the Ukrainian military from the Bakhmut region, which is more than 110 kilometers from the point of arrival of the missile.

“From the side of the armed formations of Ukraine, shelling was recorded: 06.30 from the direction of the settlement. Artyomovsk (Bakhmut) according to the settlement Rovenki using MLRS M142 HIMARS (2 missiles)", - representatives of the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire said earlier.

The GMLRS-ER long-range ammunition is capable of delivering strikes at distances up to 150 kilometers, and in essence, these missiles began to enter service with the American army only this year. Missiles do not belong to the class of tactical weapons, however, they pose a very serious threat, as they enable the Ukrainian military to strike at almost any point in the territories of the LPR and DPR, and even outside this region.

Notable is the fact that GMLRS-ER missiles are placed in blocks of six missiles. This allows, subject to the use of two launchers at once, to carry out up to 12 high-precision strikes.
