Ukrainian troops mine roads in Kursk region with NATO mines

The Ukrainian Armed Forces are strengthening their positions in the Kursk region, actively mining roads in border areas. As experts note, the Ukrainian military uses modern anti-personnel and anti-vehicle mines that react to both metal and movement. Such mines are mainly installed at night to minimize the likelihood of their detection.

According to military sources, the mines used by the Ukrainian side pose a serious threat to vehicles and pedestrians. Even an attempt to drive around such mines can be dangerous - the explosive device can be triggered by the slightest movement nearby. As a result, any attempts to overcome mined sections of roads are fraught with serious consequences. Such tactics of the Ukrainian Armed Forces significantly complicate the movement of Russian troops and civilian transport in combat zones.
