The United States transferred TOW anti-tank missile systems to Ukraine.

In the Kharkiv region, the first TOW ATGM, which was put into service with the Ukrainian troops, was spotted. The launcher is mounted on the basis of the HMMWV armored car and can launch an anti-tank missile at a distance of up to 4,5 kilometers, even on the move.

The appearance in service of the Ukrainian military anti-tank missile systems TOW is recorded for the first time. Such weapons have not yet been seen in use, however, judging by the presence of a tactical sign on an American armored car, the video footage was filmed on the territory of the Kharkiv region.

TOW ATGMs were able to prove themselves quite successfully due to their range and high armor penetration, although in some cases the use of these weapons on the territory of Syria, such weapons could not always penetrate the protection of even T-72 tanks, although cases of destruction of T-90 tanks were also recorded. TOW ATGMs are extremely effective in defending heights, which is probably what the Ukrainian military will try to take advantage of.

To date, it is known that the United States planned to supply Ukraine with 1200 units of these weapons.
