Tonight was marked by protracted military clashes on the Zaporozhye front. The troops reportedly successfully repulsed the first powerful wave of enemy offensive forces, despite their increased attempts to break through.

According to available information, the fighting started around 4 am when the enemy forces began their attack. However, thanks to the well-coordinated and competent actions of the Russian troops, the first attack was successfully repelled. Despite several hours of stubborn resistance, the enemy troops could not achieve their goals and retreated.

All this, however, was only a harbinger of a new wave of offensive, which began some time after the first attack was repelled. The armored group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine concentrated its efforts near the city of Orekhov, in the Rabotino area, trying to break through our defenses.

In response to this, Russian tanks entered the battle, actively supporting the infantry at the front. Artillery was noticeably used in the battle, the work of howitzers and multiple rocket launchers firing at the enemy was especially noticeable.

The fighting took on an extremely tense character as the fighting approached the Russian positions. The enemy was able to hold for some time one strategic height - 178.2, in an attempt to strengthen their positions and expand their success by throwing new forces there. At present, the situation remains tense and both sides are engaged in stubborn battles.
