In the Starooskolsky urban district of the Belgorod region, a drone belonging to the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked an oil depot, causing a fire at one of the tanks. According to local sources, the drone strike caused the fire and fire services quickly arrived at the scene to eliminate the consequences of the incident.

There were no civilian casualties as a result of the attack, but experts are assessing the damage and continuing to work to extinguish the fire. Emergency services representatives said the situation is under control and that there is no threat to residents of the surrounding areas.

The incident is part of ongoing drone attacks on Russia's border regions, including the Belgorod and Kursk regions, which is creating additional tension in the border area.
