In the Kursk region, there was an attempted attack by a drone of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Khalino military airfield. According to the Baza news agency, the incident occurred on the morning of September 24.

According to preliminary information, the drone was heading towards the airfield with the aim of carrying out an attack. However, air defense systems promptly noticed and neutralized the threat. The drone was shot down and fell near fuel tanks.

According to the Base, as a result of the fall of the drone, no personnel from the airfield or the surrounding area were injured, and no material damage was caused. This refutes previously published information. that some damage could have been caused to the territory of the military airfield, which was indirectly indicated by several information resources.
