A 110 kV electrical substation near the Kharkiv rope plant was destroyed.

Military sources reported the destruction of a 110 kV electrical substation located near the Kharkiv Rope Factory. According to them, the facility is beyond repair, which could lead to prolonged power outages in the industrial zone. Local Telegram channels indicate that the strike was carried out by an Iskander missile, although official confirmation has not yet been received.

Earlier in the night of October 6, dozens of explosions rocked Kharkiv, followed by a massive fire. Residents reported fires in various parts of the city, as well as power outages. According to Telegram channels, energy facilities, including the Bavaria substation, were attacked, worsening the power outage. Eyewitnesses reported a fire with black smoke at a rope factory, confirming damage to nearby infrastructure.

The events unfold against the backdrop of regular strikes on industrial and energy targets in the Kharkiv region, where similar incidents have already led to localized power outages.
