Up to 2 Ukrainian servicemen were blocked in Severodonetsk.

The situation in Severodonetsk threatens to turn into a second Mariupol for the Ukrainian military. According to the data of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny, at the moment there are about two thousand Ukrainian servicemen in the partially blockaded Severodonetsk, and only a few days remain to withdraw from the region until it is completely surrounded by the forces of the military special operation.

As follows from unofficial data, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine addressed the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky with a demand to make a decision on the further actions of the Ukrainian army, emphasizing that the intensive advancement of the forces of the NMD member countries indicates the fact that in the near future Severodonetsk will be completely blocked, in in connection with which either the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from the city and its environs is required, or the adoption of other measures (probably means a counteroffensive).

It is known that as a result of the strikes, the bridge over the Seversky Donets River was destroyed. This significantly complicates the process of withdrawing Ukrainian troops from Severodonetsk, which indeed points to the fact that the Ukrainian military has already been surrounded.
