The destruction of the T-72 tank on a mine was caught on video

The drone filmed the destruction of the T-72 tank.

Despite its high level of protection, the T-72 tank was extremely vulnerable to a conventional anti-tank mine. As a result of a collision with a Soviet-style tank mine, the combat vehicle was torn to pieces, and the hatch of the tank commander, torn off by the shock wave, with its weight of 60-70 kilometers, was thrown into the air to a height of about 30-40 meters.

In the presented video footage, taken from an unmanned aerial vehicle, probably monitoring the situation in the region, you can see how a group of at least two T-72 tanks of an unidentified modification, moving along the railway, unexpectedly got into a mined area. As a result of the explosion of the head combat vehicle, the latter received critical damage, and the pressure created by the shock wave inside the tank literally tore the heavy commander's turret hatch from its hinges, throwing it into the air to a height of about 30-40 meters.

Due to the fact that the video was filmed from a fairly large distance, it was not possible to reliably establish the modification of the tanks. At the same time, the fate of the crew of the tank that blew up on an anti-tank mine remains unknown.
