Missile parts that fell in Moldova are identified as S-300 fragments

The missile that fell on the territory of Moldova is an S-300 anti-aircraft guided missile.

Based on photographs published by residents of Moldova, the rocket that fell today on the territory of the country is not a cruise missile launched by Russia, but an anti-aircraft guided missile of the S-300 complex. According to sources in Moldova, the missile did not explode, most likely due to a technical failure of the latter. Previously, this has already been observed under similar circumstances both on the territory of Moldova and on the territory of Poland, when the S-300 air defense missile system killed two people in the settlement. Pshevoduv.

The photograph published by local residents does not allow to reliably and objectively determine the type of rocket, however, visually it is just a rocket of the S-300 complex.

The Ministry of Defense of Moldova has not yet given specific information about who exactly owns the missile that fell in the north of the country, however, statements that it is a Russian cruise missile are erroneous.

It should be noted that this afternoon, massive missile strikes were carried out on the territory of Ukraine, as a result of which military and energy infrastructure facilities of Ukraine were hit.
