Drone "Swift" that fell in the Kaluga region could attack the oil refinery "First Plant"

The recent attack by a Tu-141 Strizh unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) on the Kaluga region may have been a deliberate attempt to strike at the First Plant oil refinery. This is reported by the telegram channel Shot, citing its source.

According to witnesses, an unknown object was seen in the sky, at which a rocket was fired. After hitting an object resembling a rocket, the latter fell and exploded two kilometers from the said plant. A preliminary analysis of the debris collected at the crash site allowed the experts to conclude that we are talking about a Soviet Tu-141 Strizh drone stuffed with explosives.

It is reported that as a result of the incident, a funnel measuring 3x4 meters was formed, and a fire broke out on the territory of several thousand square meters. Luckily, no one was hurt.

This is not the first case of the discovery of the wreckage of the Strizh UAV in the Kaluga region. So, on May 17, near the A108 highway and on February 6, the remains of a downed air defense drone were found in the forest. Also on March 26, near Tula in Kireevsk, a Tu-141 stuffed with explosives, shot down by air defense, fell.
