2016 was a record year in the number of accidents in Russia.

Information about this was presented by the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC), which brought about the fact that at the end of the year 2016 63 was detected aviation accidents, including 35 cases occur in general aviation and 28 cases - for commercial aircraft. This value is a record in recent years 25, and forces to take appropriate measures which will have to reduce the number of incidents.

It should be noted that at the end of the year 2016, 74 victims of air crashes have become human, in this case, most of this amount falls on a commercial aircraft, killing 44 person.
