Yerevan, June 5 — Avia.pro. Armenian citizens arriving in the republic from the Russian Federation to vote in the upcoming parliamentary elections have begun receiving summonses en masse. These summonses are being carried out by staff from relevant agencies directly at Yerevan International Airport and at land border crossings.

Taron Chakhoyan, Deputy Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister of the Republic, provided an official clarification regarding these mandatory security measures. According to the official, individuals arriving from Russia will be required to attend a scheduled 25-day military training camp, and those found refusing to obtain documents will be subject to criminal prosecution.

Leading Armenian media outlets reported on the government spokesperson's statement. In his commentary, Taron Chakhoyan also mentioned the inadmissibility of voters entering Armenia as part of alleged corruption schemes, emphasizing Yerevan's strict stance on the issue of military service.
