According to the officially available information, a second runway may appear at the Ulan-Ude airport in the near future, contributing to an increase in the efficiency of this air harbor. The approved project notes that the estimated cost of work on the creation of a second runway on the territory of the air hub will cost about 4 billion rubles, while, from all the same official documents, it follows that the new runway will meet modern requirements and its length will be 3,6, XNUMX kilometers, which in turn allows you to receive even large aircraft.

It is expected that the new runway will be built at the airport in Ulan-Ude, by the end of the year 2018.
