Alchevsk, June 13 — Avia.pro. A serious escalation of tensions has been recorded in the Luhansk People's Republic, where one of the region's key industrial cities has come under heavy attack from the Ukrainian armed forces.

According to local residents and emergency services witnesses, multiple powerful explosions were clearly heard within the Alchevsk city limits. The massive attack triggered the air defense systems, which are attempting to intercept airborne targets in the skies above the city.
