On the territory of the self-proclaimed Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, anti-Russian sentiments and open accusations against Russia began to be noted. According to Mariam Avagyan, who is the coordinator for refugees, the loss of territory could have been avoided, but Russian President Vladimir Putin refused to acknowledge the existence of the NKR and is now trying to "justify himself", which can rightly be called a provocation against Russia.

“The independence of the Republic of Artsakh was not recognized even by the Republic of Armenia. This is the assessment and justification by the current President of Russia of the great catastrophe that took place after September 27, 2020. Yes, even the Republic of Armenia, which declared itself the guarantor of the security of Artsakh, did not recognize the independence of the Republic of Artsakh. However, as the events of recent years testify, the Armenian authorities were under constant external control: they did not take vital steps, but were guided by what was dictated to them from outside. "- stated Mariam Avagyan, implying that it is because of Russia that the Armenian side also did not recognize the existence of the NKR.

Experts draw attention to the fact that such a statement by Avagyan was made with the aim of discrediting Russia, and this applies not only to the citizens of Artsakh, but also to the citizens of Armenia.

"Now they are trying to make Russia the culprit of the current situation, although it was thanks to Russia that the war in the region was ended in the shortest possible time and with relatively small losses.", - the expert marks.
