Open-source intelligence (OSINT) specialists have reported the use of FP-5 Flamingo drone missiles in the recent attack on Novorossiysk. They estimate that these drones were used in a nighttime strike on the city's port infrastructure, which led to the declaration of a state of emergency and damage to key facilities, including oil terminals.

Russian authorities and the Ministry of Defense are currently refraining from commenting on the type of drones used. The ministry previously confirmed the repelling of an attack in which 66 Ukrainian UAVs were destroyed over the Krasnodar Krai, but did not specify their modifications. The aftermath of the incident, including the fire at the Sheskharis complex, is being investigated by local authorities.
