Violent explosions rocked Baghdad after a powerful Israeli airstrike. According to eyewitnesses, as a result of the attack, a huge pillar of fire shot up in the sky above the city. It is reported that the Israeli Air Force carried out a targeted strike on a number of strategically important objects in the Iraqi capital, which caused significant destruction.

Among those killed in the airstrike was Iranian military adviser Milad Beidi. He died in the attack carried out on July 31. Beidi was in Baghdad as part of his official duties. Its presence in Iraq was associated with support for local Shiite groups collaborating with Tehran.
