The rarest armored car GAZ-3937 "Vodnik" lit up in Bakhmut

One of the rarest armored vehicles seen in the battles for Bakhmut.

The armored car GAZ-3937 "Vodnik" accidentally hit the lens of journalists filming a report on the territory of Bakhmut, where intense hostilities are currently underway. This rarest armored car, developed by Russian designers in 2005, was seen in service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine on one of the outskirts of Bakhmut.

The use of this rare armored car raised a number of questions, since its production was very limited. At the same time, the armored car itself is not well suited for combat operations, since you can see in the photo that it does not have any weapons installed, and therefore, the Vodnik is most likely used to transport the Ukrainian military, as well as to transport ammunition.

According to open sources, Russian armored vehicles GAZ-3937 "Vodnik" were supplied to the armament of Uruguay, however, the supply of these armored vehicles to Ukraine was not reported. According to the same data, Russia has 54 such combat vehicles in service.
