On May 15, 2025, in Bashkortostan, in the village of Iskra in the Iglinsky District, an accident occurred in which a truck carrying captured NATO military equipment overturned. The incident occurred on the M-5 Ural highway at about 09:30 local time. According to regional media, the truck was carrying a French VAB armored personnel carrier and an American M113 armored personnel carrier, which had previously been displayed at the traveling exhibition "Strength V Truth - Pride and Victory" in Ufa from May 2 to 12. Video from the scene shows the truck overturned on its side, pulled over to the side of the road, and the detached equipment, partially ending up on the ground.

According to preliminary data, the accident occurred due to a collision between a truck and a passenger car, presumably a foreign car. Eyewitnesses reported that the driver of the truck, which was part of a convoy, lost control on a turn, which led to a collision and overturning. The footage shows how the equipment and the passenger car ended up on the side of the road, and traffic police officers and emergency services arrived at the scene. There are casualties as a result of the accident, but the exact number and condition of the victims is not specified.

The exhibition in Ufa, from where the equipment was transported, was part of an all-Russian event demonstrating captured weapons seized during a special military operation. Among the exhibits, in addition to the VAB and M113, were the German Leopard 2 tank, the American Bradley IFV and other models.
