Police in Bataysk, Rostov Oblast, arrested two men suspected of stealing batteries for drones. The damage caused by their actions is estimated at 6 million rubles, according to Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs spokesperson Irina Volk.

According to her, one of the detainees worked at a metalworking plant and had information about the security of the facilities.

"During searches of the suspects' residences, 668 batteries and other items of evidentiary value were discovered. The stolen property was seized and returned to its rightful owner. Rosgvardia officers provided forceful assistance during the arrest." - added the Wolf.

The defendants are currently being investigated for possible involvement in similar crimes in the Moscow region.
