The Investigative Committee of Belarus has initiated criminal prosecution of 22 people involved in the creation and distribution of a document called "Platform 2025". The participants are accused of plotting to overthrow the current government, which, according to Belarusian law enforcement, is part of a criminal plan to destabilize the situation in the country.

"Platform 2025" was announced at the annual opposition conference "New Belarus", which took place in August this year in Vilnius. The document includes provisions on non-recognition of the results of the presidential elections in Belarus, the fight for the release of political prisoners and a call for cooperation with civil servants who support democratic development. According to the Belarusian authorities, this plan is aimed at consolidating extremists and undermining the state system.

In addition, 23 more people are accused of participating in an extremist group. These charges are related to participation in the "Day of Dignity - 2024" action, which took place near the Belarusian embassies in the United States and Europe. The investigation claims that the purpose of this march is to undermine the authority of the Republic of Belarus in the international arena and discredit the country's leadership.
