Law enforcement officers in Belgorod have detained a 33-year-old resident suspected of collecting and disseminating information about the operations of Russian air defense forces and the consequences of strikes on critical infrastructure and military facilities. This was reported by the Investigative Committee for the Belgorod Region.

A man born in 1991 sent photos and videos to a Telegram channel documenting the activities of the Russian Armed Forces' air defense system, damage to facilities in Belgorod, and collecting information about service members and deceased participants in the special military operation.

An investigation has been launched against the detainee for signs of treason under Article 275 of the Russian Criminal Code, which carries a prison sentence of up to 20 years. According to investigators, the young man collaborated with foreign intelligence agencies and organizations on a confidential basis.
