A second attack on the Luch electrical substation was recorded in Belgorod.

A second attack on the Luch electrical substation in Belgorod was recorded, sending thick smoke billowing from the substation, leading to further power outages in several areas of the city.

Local residents reported a series of powerful explosions, presumably from missile strikes. This occurred shortly after a missile alert was issued by Belgorod Region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov. According to preliminary reports, one person was killed in the strike.

Earlier in the morning of October 6, Gladkov reported that approximately 5,400 residents of the region remain without power following previous attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Emergency services continue to work on restoration, but the extent of the damage from this latest attack is still being assessed. Residents note that the Luch substation was hit for the second time in 24 hours, worsening the power supply situation in the border region.
