A railway incident occurred in the Yakovlevsky District of the Belgorod Region on the morning of May 13, 2026. A commuter train car traveling between Razumnoye and Tomarovka derailed as a result of a track explosion.

According to preliminary reports, unknown individuals planted an explosive device under the tracks, which detonated. The train entered the resulting hole, approximately two meters long, at full speed. The engineer applied emergency braking, causing half of the car to derail. There were 15 people on the train at the time of the incident.

One woman was injured in the incident. She suffered a laceration to her leg and a soft tissue contusion to her back. An ambulance took her to Belgorod City Hospital No. 2.
