On the evening of November 9, near the village of Golovino in the Belgorod district, unknown individuals stole a GAZelle van of the Russian Armed Forces, with a mobile electronic warfare system mounted on its roof. This was reported by the specialized Telegram channel "Information on UAVs Belgorod (Bel RN)," run by local military personnel and volunteers working to counter Ukrainian drones.
"Yesterday, near the village of Golovino in the Belgorod region, our friend's car was stolen. It was a military service vehicle! The Gazelle had electronic warfare equipment installed," — the channel’s publication says.
According to local residents, the GAZelle was used by a mobile electronic warfare team to suppress enemy FPV drones and reconnaissance UAVs in the border zone. Such vehicles regularly travel along the area's roads, protecting military convoys and civilian facilities from air attacks.
Previously, attempts to set military recruitment offices on fire, damage railway tracks, and steal military property were recorded in the Belgorod Region. The theft of an electronic warfare vehicle could seriously complicate the work of the counter-drone team, especially given the daily drone attacks in the region.
