Belarus has banned the transportation of any liquids on flights to Russia

07 February 2014. Since 7 February in Belarus, the ban on carrying any liquids on flights to Russia will come into force. As reported in the Minsk airport, these measures are taken to ensure maximum safety of passengers during the Sochi Olympics.

Now passengers will not be able to carry any liquid containers to the plane, RIA Novosti reports. The ban bypasses only necessary dietary means, medicines, baby food and mother's milk, but in a limited number. They can be carried to the plane only after checking and identifying them as not representing a threat.

At airports in Russia, this prohibition operates from 11 January.
