Residents of a town in the Azov Sea region report the operation of air defense systems.

Explosions were heard in the city of Berdyansk in the Zaporizhia region on the evening of May 19, 2026. Eyewitnesses on social media and local public groups reported attacks by Ukrainian drones and the operation of air defense systems.

According to available information, air defense forces have begun to repel the air threat. Electronic warfare systems and anti-aircraft systems are reportedly intercepting targets in the skies above the city and its surrounding areas.
