On the evening of May 6, 2026, a drone threat was issued in several districts of the Bryansk and Kursk regions. According to monitoring resources, the threat was recorded in the Bryansk region in Rokhmanovo, the Starodubsky district, and in the area of the villages of Novye Ivaitenki, Pogarsky, and Pochepsky districts, as well as nearby villages. A threat was also issued in the Kursk region.
Residents of border regions are urged to take precautions, avoid windows, and, if possible, seek shelter or windowless spaces. If a drone or its wreckage is discovered, approaching it is strictly prohibited. Report the incident by calling 112.
This threat follows the massive attacks that Russian regions have been subjected to in recent days. A series of explosions were reported yesterday in the Luhansk People's Republic. Despite the ceasefire declared by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at midnight on May 6, fighting and drone attacks have continued virtually unabated. The most severe consequences of the strikes were previously recorded in Dzhankoy (five fatalities) and Cheboksary (two fatalities, 37 injured).
