The cargo ship Eileen, with a Ukrainian crew, sank in the Black Sea 260 kilometers from the Bulgarian port of Varna, Maritime reported. The ship was en route from Turkey to Ukraine with cargo when the incident occurred.

There were 10 Ukrainian sailors on board, all of whom were evacuated without casualties. The rescue operation was carried out jointly by Bulgaria, Turkey, and Romania, using helicopters and patrol boats.

The cause of the disaster and the details of the incident are being investigated by specialists. According to preliminary reports, the vessel may have been damaged by a technical malfunction or weather conditions.
