The power system of one of the most important railway lines, which is actively used for military logistics and supply of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the line of combat clashes, was damaged. We are talking about the railway section Sinelnikovo - Dnepr, 212 kilometers long. This route plays a key role in the transportation of equipment and ammunition to the front line.

As it became known, in the area of ​​the settlement of Sad (Dnipropetrovsk region) a relay cabinet containing equipment of railway automation and telemechanics systems was disabled. This equipment is responsible for controlling the movement of trains and maintaining the smooth operation of the railway network. The attack on this infrastructure led to significant disruptions in the operation of the transport hub.

The damage to such an important facility caused serious difficulties for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Now the Ukrainian military has to use alternative routes to transport the necessary cargo. In particular, the Dnepr-Pavlograd railway line was used for these purposes. However, this led to an increase in the distance, which seriously affected logistics and slowed down deliveries. Now the supply haul has increased by almost 200 kilometers, which complicates and lengthens the delivery of cargo to the front line.
