In the DPR, the number of wounded and dead has increased over the past week.

The Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Donetsk People's Republic reports that a significant number of injured and dead were recorded for the period from March 11 to March 17, 2022. According to official data posted on the website of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the DPR, Daria Morozova, over the past week, 1195 cases of injury and death were recorded among the military and civilian population of the republic.

As follows from the official data, for the period from March 11 to March 17, 2022, 999 people were injured, including 886 representatives of law enforcement agencies and 113 civilians. In addition, a significant number of deaths were recorded, in particular, we are talking about 150 representatives of law enforcement agencies and 46 civilians. The presented figures are almost 1,5 times higher than a week earlier, which causes very serious concern.

Experts draw attention to the fact that a large number of dead and wounded were also caused by the recent Tochka-U tactical missile attack on Donetsk, in which more than 40 people were killed and injured. However, given the fact that most of the territory of the Donetsk People's Republics has come under the control of law enforcement agencies, it is expected that in the future the dead and wounded will be avoided.
