In the city of Yelets in the Lipetsk region, air defense systems on duty shot down a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle.

"Today, during the red alert, air defense forces shot down an enemy drone in Yelets. Falling debris damaged several private homes. There were no fatalities or injuries." - the report says.

Emergency services are working at the scene. After their investigation, a special commission will assess the damage to residential buildings.

A red terrorist alert level was previously introduced in the Lipetsk region due to the threat of drone attacks from Ukraine.
