An explosion occurred on the railway bridge over the Chapaevka River near Samara. The event, recorded on March 4, 2024 at 06:13 local time, caused significant concern among the local population and first responders. It is important to note that, according to the Office of the Federal Security Service for the Samara Region, no casualties or injuries were registered as a result of the incident, which was a mitigating circumstance among the potentially dangerous consequences.

“Today, March 4, 2024, at 6:13 a.m. (5.13 Moscow time), a single emergency number “112” received a message about cotton in the area of ​​the railway bridge across the Chapaevka River in the urban district of Chapaevsk... There were no casualties or injuries.”, - the report says.

Immediately after the explosion was reported, law enforcement officers and specialized services were sent to the scene. They began a thorough inspection of the scene and took the necessary operational measures aimed at clarifying all the circumstances of the incident and ensuring the safety of the territory.

The incident led to the suspension of train traffic on the Zvezda-Chapayevsk section. According to the press service of the Kuibyshev Railway, the reason for the traffic stop was “illegal interference of unauthorized persons in the operation of railway transport.” This indicates a possible deliberate action aimed at disrupting the transport infrastructure.
