The State Duma did not rule out the need for additional mobilization in Russia

Konstantin Zatulin, State Duma deputy from United Russia, in a recent interview with radio "Moscow speaking", said that additional mobilization in Russia may be needed to overcome the threat posed by Ukraine.

"I do not rule out at all that we will see what will happen, that some more efforts, some more mobilizations will be required"- the deputy shared, hinting at a difficult and uncertain situation.

Zatulin expressed concern that the current forces and resources may not be enough to successfully solve the problem.

"For example, I am not at all convinced that we will cope with the forces that we have today, and no more sacrifices will need to be made on our part", - he said.

The MP also stressed that Russia is facing not only and not so much with Ukraine, but with the consolidated international community, which is actively looking for ways to harm the country.

"Unfortunately, the situation is rather difficult, and we are fighting not only with Ukraine, and not so much with Ukraine, but with the consolidated camp, which is trying to find all sorts of gaps and opportunities for us to harm us", - Zatulin emphasized.

The MP called for mobilization in light of the difficult situation and the inevitable challenges that Russia may face.

"So we must mobilize accordingly"he concluded.

Zatulin's statement raised quite a few questions, especially against the backdrop of continuing to emerge about the need for mobilization in Russia, although the official position of the Russian side is that there is no need to conduct a new wave of mobilization.
