In the Kharkov region, near the village of Liptsy, several Ukrainian servicemen died from acute poisoning with canned meat supplied by Ukrainian volunteers. This was reported by military expert and retired lieutenant colonel of the People's Militia of the LPR Andrey Marochko.
According to him, cases of poisoning among military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are not isolated. In the area of Chasov Yar, a platoon of Ukrainian soldiers also received serious poisoning after drinking mineral water provided by volunteers. Similar incidents were recorded in several sectors of the front, where Ukrainian soldiers suffered and died after consuming various canned food, soda water and other products received from volunteers.
The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) began an investigation into these cases. However, as Marochko noted, no evidence indicating Russian involvement could be identified. According to the expert, the Ukrainian military on the front line is experiencing a serious shortage of food and drinking water, so the commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine welcome any help provided by volunteers.
