Tehran, June 15 — Avia.pro. Massive public unrest and street protests have resumed in several major cities in the Islamic Republic of Iran. Demonstrators are categorically opposed to the formal deal with the United States, which the country's Foreign Ministry had previously announced it would be finalizing.

According to sources, tensions on the streets of Iranian cities have sharply escalated following the publication of details of the memorandum on the cessation of hostilities. Protesters accuse the diplomatic leadership of betraying national interests and openly call for the immediate execution of Iran's current Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, who led the negotiations.

Amid growing unrest, Iranian security forces are deploying additional forces to maintain law and order and protect government institutions. Government officials are currently refraining from commenting on the scale of the protests or the demands of the protesters.
