Iran said they do not trust the Russian S-400

Iran is not sure about the reliability of the Russian S-400.

The Iranian authorities have rejected an earlier offer to purchase from Russia a batch of S-400 Triumph anti-aircraft missile systems to protect its airspace from external threats. According to the brigadier general of the army of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mahdi Farahi, the widely advertised capabilities of the Russian complexes have not yet been confirmed in practice. For this reason, Iran will be busy adopting the BAVAR-373 complexes, which, it is said, although they have a shorter range, have already been tested both in Iran itself and in Syria, and are probably even superior to the Russian S-400s.

“Brigadier General Mahdi Farahi said that the newest version of the Bavar-373, which will be presented in the near future, has capabilities that are superior to the S-400. He noted that Iran is making progress in the area of missile defense and can make significant progress in this sector. The general highlighted the progress of the Islamic Republic in missile production, stating that the country has created a special liquid fuel for missiles that has a shelf life equal to that of solid propellants, which allows projectiles to be stored for longer periods of time. Iran introduced the Bavar-373 in August 2019. The long-range air defense system is capable of detecting up to 100 targets, tracking 60 of them and firing at six at the same time. A distinctive feature of the Bavar-373 is its vertical launch system with square launchers, which is mainly used for air defense on warships. ", the Iranian Tasnim news agency reported.

Experts believe that the key reason for Iran's dissatisfaction is the fact that Russia has not yet deployed its S-400 Triumph air defense systems to ensure security in Syria, while Iran, judging by previously presented data, a year earlier deployed a radar with AFAR to the eastern part of the SAR. This allowed him to test his work on various kinds of targets, including drones and American "stealth" aircraft.

Iran has been smearing our S-400s for at least two years and boasting about its own. They tried to transfer their systems to Syria. The Jews constantly destroyed them. Ours allowed them to unload at the Khmeimim base. And how many Jewish planes or rockets did they shoot down?

"Special liquid fuel for missiles", perhaps with which Vasily Alibabaevich diluted gasoline at a gas station ?!

There is a lot of controversy about how successfully the Iron Dome works. The Israeli side claims that the complex ensures the elimination of up to 90% of enemy missiles, especially from the Gaza Strip. However, in 2013, a number of experts, including an Israeli researcher, Dr. Mordechai Schaefer, expressed the opinion that the real efficiency of the Iron Dome is at the level of 5%.

Iran is cheating impudently, firstly there is no money for this, secondly there are sanctions, the s-400 tests have passed long ago and successfully ...

Everything is logical, not a single shot down plane, and the Jews continue to bomb Syria, what kind of trust can we talk about. Now cunning Jewish pilots, now mountains, now clouds mix ...

We are waiting for the next shot down by the Persians
passenger plane

Yes, yes. S-400s have never been tested in real combat. Either yes tested but failed, which is not mentioned. At the same time, I doubt that the Iranian missile defense system has been tested.
The only 2 systems that have been tested in the last 30 years are the American Patriot (not very successful) and the Israeli Iron Dome (more than successful).
If I had to arm myself now, I would choose Israeli weapons.

do not trust .... so what? the conditions must be clearly negotiated ... the Russian Federation cannot sell equipment with the possibility of using it against itself ... but otherwise - under an agreement
