Italian scientists intend to create a web that withstands the weight of a falling airplane.

At first glance it may seem innovative design something unusual out of science fiction, but the first steps in this direction have already been made, at least, as it became known portal Avia.pro, scientists were able to achieve a more solid structure of the web, three times superior strength normal, and further studies will at least get a strong and resilient material.

At the moment it remains unknown how exactly the web will work for catching airplanes, but apparently the appearance of development should be expected not earlier than in 10 years.
