Israel has announced its desire to end the war against Hamas

Israel's permanent representative to the UN, Gilad Erdan, issued a statement about the possible imminent end of the war in Gaza. Erdan pointed to a simple condition that could lead to an immediate end to the conflict: the release of Hamas hostages and the surrender of those involved in the October 7 attack.

“This war could end tomorrow, even today, if Hamas returns all the hostages and hands over all the terrorists who took part in the October 7 massacre. A real truce can be achieved that will last for decades. Demand this from Hamas, this is the solution.", - he stressed.

Erdan called on the international community to influence Hamas to achieve these conditions. According to him, such an action on the part of Hamas will allow us to achieve a long-term truce that will ensure stability in the region for many years.
