Clashes with the police in Kazakhstan escalated into clashes with the military.

Peaceful protests in Kazakhstan quickly escalated not only into clashes with the police, but also with the military. Thus, according to the information available to the news agency Avia.pro, in the Mangistau region of Kazakhstan, local residents in off-road vehicles caught up with and blocked a military convoy in the steppe, not allowing the servicemen to be transferred to the centers of protests.

The situation in Kazakhstan at the moment is very acute, even despite the fact that the authorities promptly fulfilled the conditions of the citizens of the country, returning the cost of gas to last year's indicators. After the appeals of the President of Kazakhstan Tokayev, the citizens demanded the appearance of the President himself, however, having received only harsh criticism on this score, the situation again very quickly deteriorated.

At the moment, in the large cities of Kazakhstan, there are real battles between the civilian population, the police and the military. At the same time, there are a large number of victims on each side - after attempts by the security forces to use tear gas and start detentions, stones and pyrotechnics fell towards the police and the military.

The country's leader has not yet commented on the current situation, however, experts believe that attempts may be made to seize power in the country by force in Kazakhstan tonight.
